Ahmedabad Woman’s Startup Show Sparks Entrepreneurial Revolution.
Ahmedabad Woman’s Alka Gor, a determined entrepreneur from Ahmedabad, embarked on a mission to revolutionize the startup landscape in India. Faced with the challenges of securing funding for her own venture, she envisioned a platform that could provide mentorship and investment opportunities to aspiring entrepreneurs like herself. This vision led to the creation of ‘Kal Ke Krorepati‘, a groundbreaking startup Teaming up with venture builder Milapsingh Jadeja and garnering support from Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty, Alka Gor brought her idea to life. The pre-launch event, graced by Sunil Shetty, set the stage for what promises to be a game-changing reality show. ‘Kal Ke Krorepati’, set to air on national television in Hindi, focuses on showcasing startups from Gujarat in its inaugural season, with plans to expand to other states in the future.
Alka Gor, the show’s producer, expressed her pride in bringing such a premier platform to Gujarat and the nation as a whole. She emphasized the show’s potential to ease the path to funding for promising startups, citing the overwhelming interest from investors totaling around 15 crores in the first season alone.
With a unique and entertaining format, ‘Kal Ke Krorepati’ invited over 500 business proposals from across Gujarat, selecting 27 startups with original ideas to pitch to a panel of investors. Milapsingh Jadeja, the venture builder, highlighted the show’s potential to promote Gujarat’s startup ecosystem and contribute to India’s entrepreneurial landscape by bringing together startups, investors, and stakeholders for networking and fundraising opportunities.
